EL LOBO MESTIZO

This bar-restaurant is run by a couple of poets: Paola, a local, and Denis, who comes from Honduras. It is one of the most popular bars in the heart of San José, with an intellectual and arty atmosphere. The restaurant is dimmed, with candles, and Spanish songs are played in the background. Concerts are held regularly. The food is simple but excellent with options for vegetarians. The beers and cocktails are really cheap. A good option to spend the evening in the city center, as a change from sodas.
