HONG KONG MARITIME MUSEUM
Built in 1846, Murray House is located on the seafront in Central, surrounded by Flagstaff House. It then served as an officer's barracks, and then became a Navy building in 1847. It was bypoint in 1982 to give way to the Bank of China Tower yard, before being rock-filled in 2001 in Stanley. Today, returning to its original place, it now houses the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, an excellent museum reminiscent of Hong Kong's and China's maritime history, the first explorations under the Han of the East (25-220) to those of Zheng He, admiral under the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) that justice the African coasts. We admire very beautiful models of jonques very well presented. This museum also depicts the history of eye emigrated to the West in the th and th centuries. In the section devoted to contemporary times, the interior of the cockpit of a supertanker was recreated. A visit not to be missed.
