HONG KONG CITY HALL

This huge cultural space, with its Bauhaus-style architecture, is one of the oldest on the island, having existed since 1962. In a slightly old-fashioned but still dynamic atmosphere, it houses a concert hall, a recital hall, a cinema, a theater and exhibition galleries, among others. Visitors come here to attend Cantonese or Western opera performances, or to see films at the annual French Film Festival. It is also home to a number of restaurants, including the iconic Maxim's Palace.
