Stanley Market is the main attraction of this former fishing village, which is particularly lively at weekends. The narrow pedestrian streets are home to a multitude of stalls offering a wide range of inexpensive clothes, jewelry, toys, souvenirs and arts and crafts at attractive prices. Although bargaining is limited, it's sometimes possible to pick up a few bargains at the end of the day, just before closing time. In recent years, this picturesque market has lost some of its splendor, but it's still a pleasant place to stroll around.
