HEI BAAT FONG

Located on one of the streets perpendicular to Tai Ping Shan, this unpretentious restaurant serves dumplings (Chinese ravioli) to die for. You can choose from fried or steamed dumplings, stuffed with vegetables, pork or shrimp, and they're prepared right before your eyes in the small open kitchen. You can eat them on the go or in a broth. Other specialties include meat or fish dumplings, and several varieties of noodles served in spicy or non-spicy soup (fish broth is particularly famous).
