Travel Guide Luodian 罗甸

This small town of 350 000 inhabitants is located in southern Guizhou, just less than 200 kilometres south of Guiyang. The region is mainly inhabited by the Buyi. The climate is mild all year round. Lovers of karst landscapes should spoil themselves: Luodian has a fabulous collection! Geologists consider the city to be a treasure of the triassic period (which corresponds to a period of 200 to 235 million years). Luodian is a destination still very little for tourists: important for those who want to travel off the beaten trails and discover the minorities in southern China.
