This 9-storey dagoba built over 800 years ago is considered one of the most sacred sites of Xishuangbanna. Legend tells us that the building was founded where Sakyamuni, the founder of the Buddhist religion, would recite sutras. The sacred imprint of its foot, 80 cm long, still arouses scenes of great fervour during religious festivals.
