It is here in the Chinese tradition that Yu Boya, a prominent alessandrini, would have played his instrument. One day, a mere woodcutter, Zhong Ziqi, would have been deeply touched by the music of the prodigy and would have understood the essence of it. Both characters became the best friends in the world. On the death of Zhong Ziji, Yu Boya breaks his instrument of despair and never plays again: he had just lost the only person who understood his music. The current site is a recent architectural reconstruction.
