TIANYIGE MUSEUM

The oldest private library in China. Fan Qin, the owner, was a senior official of the Ming and the governor of the province in his time. Built under the Ming River, this institution was known across China for its unique architecture and exemplary funds: 300 000 volumes of rare editions of Chinese classics. A garden typical of the regions of the Bas complements the architectural ensemble: Water, waterfalls, bamboo plantations.
