The Purple Mountain is a huge forest park in the heart of the city of Nanjing. There are many tourist attractions that constitute the identity of the city, the former Republican capital, and in particular the most famous of them: Sun Yat-sen mausoleum; or the Linggu temple. The Purple Mountain is also an ideal place to escape the heat of the city in summer and enjoy the quietness.

Le site est actuellement en travaux (construction du téléphérique, construction de points de vue, etc) mais est cependant tout de même visitable! Comptez 1 heure à 1 heure et demi pour arriver en haut. La vue est très jolie mais allez-y si la météo est dégagée sinon vous ne verrez que du brouillard une fois au dessus !
