FANGTA GARDEN

Built under the Northern Song (960-1126), the square pagoda complemented the architectural ensemble of the temple of Xingshengjiao built in 949, now completely destroyed. This nine-level brick structure, with wooden avant is 49 m high. The pagoda was renovated in 1976 by great specialists of ancient architecture and turned into perspective with the construction of Fangta Park which also includes a carved wall erected under the reign of Hongwu des Ming (1370) and a stone bridge of the Song era (960-1279).
