Located in the heart of the embassies district, a 15-minute walk from Jianguomen, this former site of the Temple of the Sun is now very popular with the morning gymnastics, as well as for the family walks of both Chinese and expatriate families and diplomats. We will be happy to see old Chinese flying their kites with great seriousness. Built in 1530, it is one of the oldest parks in Beijing. The emperor came to make sacrifices to the Sun to protect his country.
