Main beach of the Gulf of Orosei safeguarding the monk seal
It is the main beach of the Gulf of Orosei with Cala Luna. It is surrounded by forests and separated from Cala Luna by caves. In 1987, this area of the gulf was declared a protected area for the protection of the monk seal, but too late. This cove can be reached on foot (30 min from the parking lot) from the Golgo plateau, which can be reached from Baunei. But most of the visitors come by boat. It is much more beautiful and more ecological to go there by sea than by car!
