Tower of 29 meters with a drawbridge and a defensive system
The 29-metre tower was first mentioned in 1500 as the Tour Porte-et-Pont. Later, it appears in the municipal archives under the name Tour de Saint-Christophe. It was so named for the altarpiece representing the patron saint of travellers kept inside. This gate was part of the surrounding wall built under the Judiciary of Mariano II at the end of the 13th century. It was equipped with a drawbridge and a defensive system.
