Building with a chapel with interesting scenes carved in marble

Dating back to the 13th century, the octagonal-shaped building was built on a three-nave plan. Of its original Gothic structure, only the chapel and the bell tower base have remained intact. Below the dome, trachyte masks can be admired; they represent grotesque figures that evoke the carnival of Oristano. The façade dates back to the beginning of the XVIII century. The Chapel of the Rimedio has interesting marble carved scenes.

Très belle et grande cathédrale. Intérieur riche en ornements. Du volume, de l'espace, du marbre mais surtout de l'élégance. Joli chaire.
