ACCODDI BOARDING
Remains of the pre-Urgench village of Monte d'Accoldi in Sassari
The remains of the pre-Nuragic village of Monte d'Accoddi make up a remarkable Neolithic complex. Dated between 4300 and 3700 BC, it dates back to the Ozieri culture. The site is unique in the Mediterranean basin and has developed over time. It began with the establishment of a village belonging to the Ozieri culture. The most impressive feature, however, is the pyramidal structure that was to serve as a temple. The pyramid comprises two superimposed structures belonging to two different cultures: Ozieri and Abealzu-Filigosa (2800 BC).
