The Sporting Hotel is located in Porto Rotondo, in the northeast of Sardinia. This five star hotel offers a luxurious stay in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, an enchanting region with white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

Its location is ideal, on a strip of land on the edge of one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in the Mediterranean.

The hotel was built in 1964. Originally it had 10 rooms to accommodate the architects and craftsmen who participated in the construction of the village of Porto Rotondo and its tourist port.

The Sporting Hotel offers all the services and standing that you would expect from a five star hotel in a dream location

Particular attention is paid to comfort and furnishings in the 53 rooms and suites to make guests feel at home. They mix luxury and tradition, some with a splendid view of the sea.

A beautiful white sandy beach is reserved exclusively for Sporting Hotel guests, an ideal place for a relaxing moment.

The Sporting Hotel also has a restaurant and a bar.

The restaurant "il Patio" is ideal for a gourmet experience based on the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.

The wine list includes over 150 national and international wines

The piano bar immerses guests in a 60's atmosphere. The aperitivo is served on the spectacular sea view terrace every day between 6:30 pm and 9 pm. From 8pm to 1am, the bar comes alive with live music.

The Sporting Hotel is also the perfect magical place to make your wedding or any other event unforgettable.

Rooms on the water view is breathtaking…..and that’s what your paying for. Rooms are small, breakfast buffet is good but exact same every day and only a couple hot items. Lunch and dinner menu is overpriced even for that area. €20 for a Negroni. Your better off taking the 5-10” walk to the marina for half the price of drinks/food. I waited 30” for a coffee some mornings at breakfast.

Staff…some are very nice and helpful. Others not so much. They offer turn down service and make up rooms very nice every day. Our room was very clean and air conditioner worked well.

Entertainment of music in the main hotel area some nights.

Overall location is nice. Near some other public beaches and walking distance to many restaurants and shops past the marina.
