Museum presenting various exhibitions on the island's Aboriginal history, animals, geology, contemporary art..

By the diversity of its exhibits and the subjects covered, this museum will interest all age groups. A first part is reserved to the aboriginal history on the island, from its origins to today. Then, one passes through several rooms with very different themes (animals of the island, geology, colonial art and contemporary art...) and regularly occupied by temporary exhibitions. On the last level, one should not miss the exhibition on Antarctica, Island to Ice.

Musée de la ville de Hobart. Situé près du port, il est très intéressant pour découvrir l'historique et l'histoire de la ville. Il y a aussi une partie sur la faune et la flore où vous pourrez découvrir un tigre de Tasmanie (espèce disparue)
