Perfect for learning about the customs of the Bininj and Mungguy and their traditions in harmony with nature throughout their six seasons. Very informative about hunting and fishing techniques and the use of plants. The name of the center and its architecture honor the pig-nosed turtle, an important species for the Bininj. Artists give demonstrations during the dry season. Souvenirs and aboriginal art for sale. Photographs prohibited out of respect.
