Magnificent natural swimming pool with panoramic views located at the foot of steep gorges in Kakadu National Park.
A 12km 4WD track will take you to Maguk, formerly known as Barramundie Gorge before it reverted to its original Aboriginal name. A beautiful natural pool at the foot of the steep gorge, accessed by a 1km walk along a stream. Take the opportunity to try to see the local wildlife, including the charming rainbow pitta . The more adventurous will climb to the top of the waterfall for a breathtaking panoramic view and a refreshing swim. Camping area nearby. Ideal place for a family swim.
