DARWIN SKI CLUB

Beach restaurant €€

The perfect option for a simple and relaxed dinner! Typical Darwin atmosphere, unpretentious, but with very often a beautiful sunset. Very good for families too, with a large lawn, a playground and a pool for the afternoon. Live music from time to time. This is the water ski club; you have to put your name on the register when you are not a member, it may surprise you but it costs nothing. Located right next to MAGNT, the NT museum, so convenient for a pint or a snack after your visit.

RAPID CREEK MARKET

Spécialités

Rarely visited by tourists, Darwin's markets nevertheless play an essential role in the lives of Darwinites, who buy their tropical fruit and vegetables here, often sold directly by the growers. There are street food specialities from all over the world. You can feel (and taste) the proximity of Southeast Asia. Try the green papaya salad, mango lassi or a Top End version of laska (spicy!), which has become a real local specialty. Bring cash with you. Parap Markets on Saturdays are also a must.
