Located between Roma and Emerald, this park is a green oasis in the midst of arid lands! The porous sandstone gorges constantly feed the streams, maintaining a cool and humid climate in the rocky gorge. Many plant and animal species such as cycads andking ferns have survived the cold weather. The park is also home to 170 species of birds. Hiking trails run along the gorge and allow you to get closer to the cliffs to reach viewpoints, natural pools, amazing rock formations, or sites of aboriginal rock paintings.
