Read moreBrisbane Quarters is clearly part of the new generation of youth hostels, far removed from the clichés attached to this type of accommodation. We're more in the "boutique-hotel" category, with a trendy, well-cared-for decor that's a real eye-catcher from the moment you arrive at reception. While the dormitories are fairly classic, a great deal of attention has been paid to the communal areas, with swimming pool, gym, beautiful kitchen, laundry facilities, etc. The free breakfast served in the morning from 8 to 10 a.m. is simple, but a good way to start the day.
