This listed building, located opposite the Overseas Passenger Terminal, was home to several sailors.

Cadman's Cottage, built in 1816 as part of the shipyard, stands opposite the Overseas Passenger Terminal. It is the third oldest building in Sydney. Having served in turn as the home of several sailors (1816-1827), John Cadman, the headquarters of the Water Police - and prison (1845-1864), a guest house for visiting merchant ship captains (1926-1960), it was abandoned for a long time before being listed as a historic monument in 1972. Renovated in 1996 and occupied until 2013, it is now vacant.
