A James Barnet-designed building in Sydney featuring an atrium and several stores, cafés, restaurants and bars...
Designed by James Barnet (1827-1904), the building was constructed between 1866 and 1891, replacing the previous main post office. It was the headquarters of the New South Wales Central Post Office until 1996. It now houses a number of stores, cafés, restaurants and bars, as well as the Fullerton Hotel, including in its former courtyard which has been converted into an atrium. In the basement, you can see some remains of Sydney's old water transport system.
