The Manning Bar has been a popular hangout for a very long time. It's not the most glamorous of venues with those slightly old-fashioned carpets, but it has that little extra something that no other nightclub in Sydney has: it's in the heart of the university and it's where the city's youth are. It's also where up-and-coming bands play, where you can play pool or grab a pizza on the edge of the table near the dance floor, or have drinks without breaking the bank. In short, you'll get it, it's highly recommended for partying.
