A refined English-style park with panoramic views and the remarkable Deux Frères tower in Chamalière, a walk not to be missed.
Jean-Baptiste Bargoin, a philanthropic pharmacist, was born in Vic-le-Comte in the early 19th century. He spent the rest of his life in Chamalières. On his death, he bequeathed his Bellevue estate to the town as a place for strolling. Refined in the English style, the park extends over 8 hectares and features almost 800 trees. Stroll beneath magnificent redwoods, ginkgos biloba, cedars of Lebanon and one of France's largest maples, over 250 years old. A number of buildings are added to the rounded walkways, including the Tour des Deux Frères, erected by the estate's founder in tribute to his two sons.

Peut être que la déclivité du terrain en est la cause.
Il a pourtant de multiples avantage, le calme pour les plus anciens et les grandes allées pour courir (et la tour pour se cacher ..) pour les plus jeunes.
