The only 3-star hotel in El Hierro, this parador faces the sea and backs onto a mountain of volcanic rock, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy the regular sound of the waves. Renovated in an elegant, modern style and boasting a tropical garden alongside the sea, it offers comfortable rooms. Some look out over the mountains, but it's best to opt for the sea-view rooms with terraces on the second floor, if you don't want to have to face the tropical garden, where the guests move around discreetly. This parador also boasts a large seawater swimming pool, whirlpools and a gym. There's also a restaurant with panoramic sea views, which you won't want to leave if you sit at the bar on the terrace. We recommend it for one of the best barraquitos around, or a glass of wine with a selection of the island's cheeses, with a view of the Roque de Bonanza in the distance.
