If there was to be a must-see institution in Steni Vala, it would surely be the Icarus Café, the gathering point for sailors and yachtsmen passing through the small marina. Everyone meets there and mixes happily, from morning to night. You can have breakfast in the morning, with simple omelets and fresh orange juice, or a coffee during the day, before a small glass of aperitif in the evening. Simply put, it's an old-fashioned, family-run establishment. The service is always warm and unpretentious. The adjacent supermarket is also family owned.
