Cave with large stalactites that can only be reached by boat

Off the island of Skorpios, the Papanikolis Cave is also worth a visit. It is a large stalactite cave that can only be reached by boat. During the Second World War, a submarine was hidden there for a long time: it is the second largest cave in the whole country! Lovers of diving and swimming in the clear waters will be delighted. Only 12 nautical miles from the village of Nidrii, a good way to reach the cave is to take a boat cruise from the coast (45 minutes).

La grotte ne représente pas un site extraordinaire en soi-même, mais si votre bateau de croisière y a prévu une petite escale, autant en profiter pour nager dans ses eaux (malheureusement ce service n'était pas inclus dans notre cas).
