SCHOOL OF MILAPIDEAS

An outstanding architectural example from the time of the English protectorate between 1815 and 1864. Built in 1825, this building was a school, because the English had given themselves the mission of educating the island's population, education had become free and compulsory until the age of 15. 88 children went to this school around 1825. It was in operation until the beginning of the 20th century.
