It is one of the most famous and photographed beaches of the Ionian Islands. A real postcard of Kefalonia, Myrto is a beach of fine sand nestled between two wooded mountains. The sea changes colour all the time according to the sun's reflections, from turquoise to marine blue, and the contemplation of the place from the top of the hills is magical. On the beach, some umbrellas and deckchairs are for rent (9 euros a day), but the beach is so big that you can also sit quietly on your towel.
