Poros National Park with rare and endemic species.

Mount Ainos is a small mountain range that is an extension of the Pindar range that runs through Serbia and Albania. The highest peak is Megas Soros at 1,628 m above sea level. In 1962, the Mount Ainos National Park was created because it is full of rare species. Among the flora, the Kefalonia fir is an endemic species, several very unusual orchids also grow on the slopes of this mountain. The forest is also home to a half-wild species of horses.
