Archaeological museum ideal for learning the history of Kefalonia in Argostoli.
The original old museum, destroyed during the 1953 earthquake and rebuilt in 1960, is normally the best place to go to learn more about the history of Kefalonia. When it's open, you'll see an interesting collection of pottery from prehistoric and Roman times and a large number of pieces from the Mycenaean era. Other exhibits include gold coins, bronze swords, precious objects and Paleolithic tools.

P14 ans après le séisme le musée n'a toujours pas rouvert MAIS les travaux sont en cours ! L'ancien bâtiment a été détruit et la reconstruction approche !
