ANCIENT CITY OF KRANI

Here is an interesting little "nature and culture" outing. Direction, the ancient city Krani. Here, you will only see the Cyclops walls, which were located near the temple of Demeter. According to the legend, these walls would have been built by a Cyclops, a monster with one eye. They were built in the 7th century BC to protect the city of Krani. Few remains of the city remain visible, but these walls attest that the island was well inhabited at that time. The environment around this site is wild and pleasant.
