BEACHES

Beaches are not the strong point of Psara: very few are accessible by road, and they are quite windy. Near the port, Kato Gialos is sheltered from the wind: family and calm, it is pleasant. Continuing 2.5 km north, the beach of Lakka is very windy (as indicated by the windmill). Families will prefer the shallow and organized beach in front of Spitalia, as well as the coves that stretch along the path that leads in 10 minutes to the beautiful sandy beach of Lazaretta. Further on, the beach of Limnos is accessible by road.
