With regard to links to the mainland, in summer, the island is connected five times a week with Piraeus (Athens) with Hellenic Seaways. Every week, there are also ferries from Kavala and Alexandroupolis.
To the other islands, count on at least one ferry a day to Aghios Efstratios but also connections to Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Samothrace, Alonissos, Skopelos, Skiathos, Evia (Kimi), Psara, Ikaria, Kalimnos, Kos and Rhodes.
Yachting. You can get gasoline and water in Myrina and Moudros.
