FÊTE DE LA GENTIANE

Riom-ès-Montagnes, Collandres and Le Claux are celebrating the emblematic plant of the Monts du Cantal, the yellow gentian. Three "villages" are set up in the town of Riom and numerous events are held in the three communes of the Pays Gentiane: local market, gentian harvesting demonstrations, hikes to meet a gentian, exhibitions, rock and jazz concerts, parades, horse-drawn carriage parades, sound and light shows... A rich program to consume without moderation, developed by the Association of traders riomois.
