This is an evening place and when we were there (end of October) it was the only eating option other than the all-meat Grill House. so luckily the food at this simple taverna food is really great (and the servers are friendly and relaxed). We didn’t have a choice except to eat there but we were very glad we did.

Uns hat es hier prima geschmeckt. Das Preis-Leistungsverh#ltnis war mit das Beste, was wir auf unserer Dodekanes-Inselhopping-Tour erlebt haben. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Man sitzt auf dem begrünten Hauptplatz des Ortes, schönes Ambiente. Und dann gab es als Nachtisch noch gratis Baklava - eine Tradition, die in Griechenland leider mehr und mehr ausstirbt. Geht hin!

Greek salad was null, not fresh. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Fish was uncleaned and tasted bad. Only homemade wine was nice. And also view.

Good, simple Greek food, served with a smile from various members of the family.

Great spot, in the square, for a lunch or dinner. In season, it's pretty much guaranteed to be busy from 8pm onwards and, refreshingly, they don't take reservations, so you might have a short wait for a table.

Good value, which is probably partly why they're often so busy.

What can you say about a Livadia institution, Omonia has been family run for decades, good honesty home cooking at a fair price. Great location for watching what's happening in the harbour. A no frills place but also has a extremely loyal customer base,we keep going back there year after year.

A lovely location under the trees and with a sea view. On the main square area. Enjoyed the food, and the owner was really pleasant and helpful. It is a very popular restaurant.
One downside is one of the waiters, named Massilius - who was great with the customers that he knew. Sadly, my friend and I were mostly ignored by him, and when we got up to ask for the bill (because people were queueing to get a seat), he was arrogant and rude.

Non abbiamo neanche potuto metterci a sedere perché il proprietario ci ha urlato che dovevamo lasciare il nostro cane lontano da noi e dagli altri tavoli. Abbiamo un vecchio cane nemmeno grande e sappiamo che in Grecia i cani non hanno lo stesso trattamento che altrove in Europa, ma davvero ci stavamo per sistemare nel tavolo più lontano da tutti, all'esterno, per giunta al sole con questo caldo e abbiamo ricevuto urla in cambio.

Δυστυχώς δεν ανταποκρίθηκε στις προσδοκίες μας. Το φαγητό ήταν μέτριο. Νομίζω ότι απευθύνεται κυρίως σε τουρίστες. Ο χώρος όμορφος. Θα μπορούσαν να έχουν πιο αυθεντικό φαγητό.

Αν και θελαμε πολύ να δοκιμάσουμε το φαγητό στο συγκεκριμένο εστιατόριο η συμπεριφορά του … υπερήλικα .. μετρ ;;.. να τον πω ήταν άκρως απαράδεκτη … θα έπρεπε να ντρέπεται απλά, άκρως ειρωνικός προς τα παιδιά μας αλλά και σε εμάς … εκείνοι έχασαν διοτι συνηθίζουμε να τρώμε πολύ … ????μάλλον προτιμάτε τους τουρίστες - Χάρισμά σας

Είτε ακούτε τις διάφορες κριτικές πολιτικής ορθότητας που θέλουν να ισοπεδώνουν και να φέρνουν στα μέτρα τους κάθε μαγαζί για να ταιριάζει στην "αισθητική" τους, είτε τις αγνοείτε και απολαμβάνετε παραδοσιακή φιλοξενία, κλασικά και νόστιμα μεζεδάκια για να συνοδεύσουν το τσιπουράκι σας, κάτω από την σκιά των δέντρων και δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Η επιλογή είναι δική σας, εμείς κάναμε τη δική μας και δεν το μετανοιώσαμε.

Το φαγητό ήταν εξαιρετικό ειδικά το καλαμάρι.. οι κύριοι επίσης ηταν όλοι ευγενεστατοι.. πήγαμε ένα βράδυ τυχαία τελικά μας ξανακέρδισε.. Θα πρότεινα λίγο υπομονή αν έχει αναμονή και κλείνει σχετικά νωρίς οπότε δεν είναι να να πας δέκα η ώρα για φαγητό..

Πήγα να βρω το φίλο μου για να πιούμε καφε. Φορούσα ένα σορτσάκι κ ένα μαγιό μπουστακι καθώς η ζέστη ήταν απερίγραπτη. Ο ηλικιωμένος άνδρας που εχει(;) το κατάστημα αρνήθηκε να με σερβίρει, δείχνοντας μου ένα χαρτί στην τζαμαρία του που έλεγε «no clothes, no service”. Επιπλέον μου έκανε κατήχηση πως το ίδιο κάνουν σε Ιταλία κ Ισπανία. Ο σεξισμός στο μεγαλείο του. Συγχαρητήρια για τις απαρχαιωμένες αντιλήψεις σας.
