PANTELIS RESTAURANT

It's a classic on the port of Gialos: Pantelis opened its doors years ago, and continues to attract crowds for its slightly more upscale - and therefore more expensive - cuisine than that offered by a traditional tavern. Among the succulent specialties are lamb with bulgur or spaghetti with lobster. Symi's small shrimps are also a must, and finally, we should mention octopus with truffle oil. Once again, beware: mezzedes and starters to share are more expensive than elsewhere.
