This small port in the south of Leros is located in a protected bay, which opens onto the island of Kalymnos, within easy reach. The village, frequented by migrants whose camp is close by, is quiet and you'll find a pretty shaded pebble beach lined with a few tavernas. Numerous sailboats anchor in the bay, and the surrounding scenery is splendid, especially at the end of the day. If you continue to the end of the road that climbs beyond the Panaghia Kavouradena chapel, you can take an easy hike to Terra Amata, an Italian Fascist and later German Nazi military camp. This abandoned building is decorated with frescoes painted by the soldiers stationed there.
