Our stay at Oku Hotel in Kos was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with cold towels and a yummy welcome drink. We stayed during the low season and was very fortunate to get an upgrade to a room featuring a private pool, which we were SO grateful for ????????

The hotel's decor and location are simply stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The service provided by all the staff was great . Maria was super warm and friendly from areival, she checked in with us each morning and gave great advice on local attractions.

As vegans, we often encounter limited options, but the staff at Oku went above and beyond to ensure we had a variety of choices. Their thoughtful gesture from the pastry chef of preparing different cakes and cookies for us was greatly appreciated and truly enhanced our dining experience.

Overall, our time at Oku Hotel in Kos exceeded all expectations. With its exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and thoughtful attention to detail, it's a destination we eagerly look forward to returning to one day.

Wir waren in der Nebensaison Mitte/Ende Mai dort. Es war sehr ruhig, wenig los und angenehmes Wetter.
Wir hatten einen Gartenbungalow und waren eigentlich rundum zufrieden.
Der Service und das Personal waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Anlage und die Zimmer sind ein Traum.
Wenn man nicht 24/7 im Hotel bleiben möchte, bleibt einem fast keine andere Wahl als einen Roller oder Auto zu mieten, denn rund um dem Hotel ist nichts - Was aber auch schön ruhig ist :-)

Das perfekte Hotel zum Abschalten und die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir waren im Oktober für eine Woche im OKU Kos und es war sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal.
Angenehme und überschaubare Größe, freundliches Personal, absolute Ruhe, schöner Privatstrand (Sand) mit glasklarem Wasser, Beachbar und bequeme Liegen mit Getränke- und Speiseservice. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Swim-up Pool und können diese Zimmerkategorie nur empfehlen. Gerade an windigeren Tagen kann man sich dort in Ruhe an seinen windgeschützten Pool zurückziehen und entspannen. Auch die Zimmerausstattung und -architektur (begehbare Tropendusche, Hängematte auf der Terrasse, bequemes Kingsize-Bett) lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Wir können Ruhe- und Erholungssuchenden dieses Hotel wirklich bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.
Daher: We‘ll be back!

Fantastic in every way— food, rooms, pools, beach and especially staff. Every one of them outstanding, special mention for Nick on cocktails. He looked after us six consecutive nights and every day was a fresh treat.

Tolles Hotel! Sieht wirklich so aus wie auf den Bildern. Unser Zimmer war super, das Team top und das Ambiente und der Strand einfach toll. Einen Mini-Abzug gibt’s für das leider alles andere als gesunde Essen im Rahmen der Halbpension, die reguläre Karte ist da deutlich besser aufgestellt. Gerade für Paare oder kleine Gruppen definitiv eine Empfehlung!
Wir waren Mitte Oktober dort, das war angenehm ruhig, aber noch schön warm.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im OKU KOS. Die Anlage war immer sauber, das Personal war sehr nett und schnell. Das Essen und die Getränke waren top. Es war immer eine Liege frei, egal ob am Pool oder Stand. Wir fanden die Veranstaltungen wie Stargazing oder Freiluft-Kino sehr schön! Danke an das gesamte OKU-Team - Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Overall we had a lovely stay at OKU. It’s a stunning hotel with some amazing staff!!
However, for the price and star rating there were some things that we think could be improved. We stay at many hotels around the world and so we feel this review is justified.

- staff communication (front desk / events): problem with the door entry system of our room when we arrived and this wasn’t communicated to us. We were left at reception for 15-20 minutes without anyone telling us. We also informed the staff before and on arrival it was our honeymoon and they didn’t seem to try make it a special start for our holiday.

In terms of events, we were told to check the OKU QR link in the room. We checked this daily. It said there was a beach party on the Wednesday and so we planned our day around this. We came to the bar only to be told it wasn’t on. Then, on the Saturday we heard loads of loud noise coming from the beach only to find out they had rescheduled it to the Saturday without updating the app. Had we known we would have attended. It was due to finish at 1am but the noise kept going until 1.30am. Again no communication about this.

- food pricing: some of the prices are extremely expensive for what you get. There is nothing around walking distance for at least 30-40 min walk. They do not sell basic snacks like ice creams or crisps and so we’d advise hiring a car like we did and going out to supermarkets for this kind of stuff.

We did go in October so maybe some fatigue kicking in from a long season for some staff.

Overall a beautiful stay but didn’t quite get 5 stars for us especially as this was our honeymoon.

Wir verbrachten 10 Tage im OKU Kos und für uns war es in Summe das BESTE Hotel in dem wir je waren (und wir waren in vielen, unter anderem im casa cook rhodos und domes zeen chania…). Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, da man außerhalb von 5-Sterne-Hotels für gewöhnlich besser (und günstiger) isst, inbesondere in Griechenland!

+ Die Anlage ist pure Ästhethik - Mehr Instagram geht nicht. Lage, Design, Vibe sind einzigartig! Erholung Pur.
+ Angenehme Gäste, kaum bis garkein „Gepose“
+ Wir wurden kostenlos auf eine Junior Suite mit Sharing Pool upgegraded. Auch Late-Checkout wurde nicht extra berechnet!
+ Traumhafte, Grosse „Boho“ Zimmer mit vielen Details (Marshall Box, Nespresso, etc), tollem Design und superbequemen Betten
+ Toller Privatstrand mit gemütlichen chill-Lounges und dem besten Sonnenuntergangsspot auf der Insel (neben Zia)
+ Durchweg nettes und freundliches Personal

Natürlich ist auch das OKU Kos - wie jedes Hotel und jeder - nicht perfekt (wlan, Handtuecher, fehlender strandservice, Garderobe personal, etc), aber verdammt nah dran!

Wir kommen definitiv wieder und danken dem OKU Kos für die tolle Zeit ????????

**Update 2023** - Wir waren dieses Jahr wieder 12 Nächte im OKU Kos und was sollen wir sagen - es ist noch besser wie letztes Jahr!

* Stabileres Internet

Das Oku Kos hat es geschafft, dass man trotz der traumhaften Insel Kos, die ich natürlich trotzdem bereist habe, die Anlage nicht verlassen möchte. Noch nie habe ich so zuvorkommendes, freundliches und sympathisches Personal kennengelernt. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl, wird verwöhnt und alles ist in einem überragenden technischen und hygienischen Zustand. Die Anlage ist traumhaft, das Meer nur wenige Meter entfernt, das Essen topt so einige deutsche Sternerestaurants und die Stimmung ist einmalig!
