When you arrive at Maistros, you can ask a question: "What is your boat? Yes, the fish here is very local and will have followed a very short route from Ioannis' boat to his son Antonis' plates. A few hours later, his cooking is delicious, the products are of good quality, fresh, and the chef undeniably talented. Try the squid stuffed with feta and tomatoes, or the eggplant revisited, all accompanied by a small Nissos. The terrace overlooks the beautiful port of Panormos.

There aren’t many restaurant options in this area of the island so we were happy to find a spot at Maïstros to grab late lunch.
We enjoyed the fishermen’s spaghetti with a cup of white wine. We ordered the fried squid to share, it was fresh and tasty. The fried squid dish pictured is 2/3rd of the full portion.
Kudos to the staff for specifying the seafood items that are fresh and that are frozen before they’re cooked for patrons.
Staff was helpful and they treated us with a small lemon slushy at the end of our meal—it was the perfect ending to a relaxing lunch by the sea.
