PLAGE DE FINIKAS

This small village, very quiet, close to Poseidonia, has a pleasant setting with palm trees and a small beach. The beach of Finikas is shaped like a small bay and its port is the second largest in Syros, after the port of Ermoupolis. Moreover, many fishing boats and yachts dock at the port because it is sheltered from the summer winds from the north, the famous meltem, so common in the Aegean islands. There are many taverns by the sea offering delicious fish dishes at reasonable prices. It is also possible to find a room here.
