CHALKIDA JEWISH CEMETERY

The Jewish cemetery of Chalkida is one of Greece's most important cemeteries because it contains tombs dating from the Ottoman period (xve century). The unique shape of the tombs that we meet here with domes. 600 graves have been restored since the 1990 s.
At the exit of the cemetery is also a statue in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
