FESTIVAL DE XANTHI

Since 1991, the date of its creation, the Xanthi festival has taken place every year in the first half of September and is accompanied by local folklore festivities. It celebrates the passage from summer to autumn. In the authentic and charming setting of the old town of Xanthi, typical dances mingle with rock bands, mandolins with techno, for a diversity representative of the population. It is also an opportunity to enjoy Greek street food and to discover local artists (art and photography exhibitions).
