From this refuge, one climbs to the Mytikas with the services of a guide (ask at the Hellenic Alpine Club). From refuge A, the climb takes about 3 hours, and it's splendid. We pass through Skala, 2,866 m high, and then reach Mytikas and its 2,917 m altitude. Be careful, however, with the road leading to it from the south, it would force you to pass through the Zonaria, a frozen and very dangerous place, sometimes even until June. It is not advisable to go without experience. In any case, beware of falling rocks that you may cause.
