TAXIARQUES CHURCH

This church with three naves consists of murals of the th and th centuries. The one decorating the exterior facade is particularly impressive. It represents men, women and children who were buried in this church in the th century. In the narthex lies the tomb of the national hero, Pavlos Melas.
