Built at the entrance of a ravine drowned in greenery, on a steep rock, 80 m above the sea, this cenobite monastery was founded in 1370 by Saint Denys de Kastoria. His magnificent church is decorated with works from the Cretan school.

Located 4 hours walk from Kariès, the monastery is inhabited by monks. His library is very well-known.
