MACEDONIAN MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART

Works by contemporary artists, Greek and foreign, are grouped together in this museum, which was opened in 1979 thanks to a patron, Alexandros Iolas, who donated 30 prestigious works. In total, this museum houses more than 2,000 works by Greek and foreign artists such as the painter Fassianos, sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle and paintings by Andy Warhol. Temporary exhibitions are also organized on a regular basis. A very beautiful, modern and well-organized museum.
